✈️Tourism industry in Sri Lanka✈️

In the past, Sri Lanka was a small island that attracted foreigners.

It is said that foreigners come to visit Sri Lanka from different countries.

 Examples;

countries like Greece, Middle East, Portugal, Holland, England

The abundance of natural resources in Sri Lanka and their economic, political and cultural significance are the reasons for foreigners to come to this country.

Foreigners' visit to Sri Lanka is currently a major business in Sri Lanka and foreign exchange has flowed into the country one by one.

Sri Lanka's tourism industry began to grow exponentially.

Since then the economy has undergone various ups and downs, developing and expanding to the present day.

Tourist arrivals from Sri Lanka, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, India, the Netherlands and the United States have been on the rise.

Foreigners migrate to Sri Lanka for fun, to explore historical values, to meet relatives and friends, and for business.

Sri Lanka's Attractive Beach, Central Highlands, Historic Sites and Their Ruins, Religious and Cultural Heritage and Sri Lankan Food, due to these foreigners also come to this country.

The politeness of Sri Lankans is another major reason for tourists to visit.

Due to the tourism industry, many other small industries also developed indirectly.

👉Hotels, Accommodations, Tourist Vehicles, Tourist Offices, etc.

Many Sri Lankans got direct employment. There was a steady growth in jobs such as batik, ornaments, wood carvings, gold, silver and brassware.

Adverse effects on the tourism industry,

1 Involvement of the modern youth in drugs.

2 Development of prostitution. Young children are also exposed to these.

Finally, the outcome of any action is both positive and negative, but the relevant authorities must work to rid Sri Lanka of the negative.

💆🏼‍♀️🤍The singer of the heart🤍💆🏼‍♀️

Umaria is the most beautiful voice in my heart.

Her full name is Umaria Binti Ayesha Sinhawansa Perera.

Her mother's name is Ayesha Sinhawansa. Her father's name is Tony Sinhawansa.

Both parents are very much involved in music from work.

Umaria is not a Sinhala woman but she is a Sri Lankan.

Although her descendants come from Indonesia, she is now a Sri Lankan.

Mrs. Umaria's father was a man of Western music.

The mother is a fan of different musical genres.

The family inquired if she had two brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Umaria's sister's name is Umara Sinhawansa .She is a singer who inherits a sweet voice that we all know.

Ms. Umaria was educated at Gateway International School.

She did not show as much interest in music during her school days as she does now.

International competitions involving Mrs. Umaria,

🎤She competed with singers from 33 countries in China and won a silver medal.

🎤Invitation to a singing competition in Turkey. It is special that she is the only woman to represent Asia there. There too she was able to win the bronze medal.

🎤Umaria and Umara win bronze medal at the world's largest music competition in Ukraine.

Especially the great opportunity she had was to sing a Yuga song with Visharada Amaradeva.

🎧"Bala welapemi nela ganu beri Hanthana sihine......"🎧

I got the opportunity to sing in the background of a teledrama on Derana channel.

Mrs. Umaria Sinhawansa, who became famous due to this, is now a singer who has charmed the whole world.

Ms. Umaria also served on the judging panel for Sirasa's voice program.

She stated at one point that she could sing songs in any language.

Ms. Umaria's innovations are often heard on the Internet, television, and radio.

The song "manda pamaa" is one of the most popular.

I'm a great fan of her songs.

"Ahi pillamak athara sega wenna rahase ..." This song is my favorite of her songs.

She is very good not only for singing but also for dancing and beauty.

🌊Protect Limited Water Resources Actively🌊

Water is the lifeblood of not only humans but also of plants and animals. Water is the primary requirement for all activities, from quenching thirst.

Although there are plenty of opportunities to get water, there is only a small amount of clean drinking water available.

We Sri Lankans do not understand the value of clean water and its value because there is not yet an unbearable shortage of water.Nowadays, no one is looking at how much water pollution is caused by the addition of pesticides, chemicals, etc. to the water. As a result, an increase in the number of patients with kidney infections can be identified. That is a sad fact.

There are so many poor people in the world who drink dirty water without a drop of clean water to drink. But in a country like Sri Lanka, people have not yet faced such a bitter experience. But if water pollution and water wastage continue, Sri Lanka will soon face a similar fate.It is a good idea to use water sparingly.Although water can be obtained from rain and rivers, very little can be consumed.

Although Sri Lanka is surrounded by oceans, the water is not available for daily consumption.Pure drinking water is an inexhaustible resource. Pure water is a gift from nature to man.Water helps in many ways until we wake up in the morning and go back to sleep at night.Fresh clean water is declining in the world due to the increase in waste and pollution.

Kings in the past were well aware of the value of water. So they collected water and created great tanks.

Even today farmers in the dry zone carry out all their cultivation activities using this irrigation technology.

But the rulers of today are less likely to do such things. It is true that technology advances with the development of the world .But with that advancement comes the need to conserve valuable resources.

Everyone should be made aware of water conservation .Social media can be easily used for this.Or they will soon face a water shortage. It is our duty to preserve water not only for ourselves but also for future generations. 💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧

Thank you.

🏝️Let us protect the Wilpattu reserve🏝️

Wilpattu is the oldest national park in Sri Lanka.

This is spread over 131,690 hectares.

It is located in the northwestern lowland dry zone of Sri Lanka.

Today, Wilpattu National Park can be seen as a five-part park complex.

The park is located 1.5 m above sea level.

Very high biodiversity can be seen in Wilpattu National Park.

This park is of great importance not only ecologically but also archaeologically.

The construction of houses in several forest reserves on both sides of the main road from the park to Mannar has caused a great deal of controversy in recent days.

Wilpattu National Park is located in the dry zone like any other park in Sri Lanka.

It consists of about five special wetlands called "willu".

The average temperature of the Wilpattu National Park is 27.2 degrees Celsius and the annual rainfall is around 1000 mm.

The best time to visit the park is between February and October.

Much of the park is densely forested. The rest is a more open area.

Natural habitats can be found in the forest. Examples include beaches, natural lakes, rocky rivers, scrubland, open grasslands, and dense forests.

31 species of mammals have been identified.

Tigers, bears, Asian elephants, spotted deer, deer, elk, buffalo, deer, wolves, wild boar and crocodiles are some of the common animals.

Several species of butterflies have been reported.

Countless bird species are said to have inhabited the area.

☎Evolution of communication☎

Man has been involved in communication in a variety of ways since ancient times.

The ancients used communication through non-verbal communication such as symbols, hints, and sounds.

Examples :

1 After hunting a large animal, the blood of that animal is rubbed on both sides of the human forehead

2 Demonstrating how he hunted an animal in front of the crowd.

3 Drawing on rocks or somewhere

Thus non-verbal communication was done and people gradually created verbal language.

There are two social views on the creation of oral language.

1 Creative opinion

2 Evolutionary view

More opinions have been formed in this regard.

1 Bow - Wow theory

2 Ding - Dong theory

3 Pooh - Pooh theory

4 Ye - He - Ho theory

Thus the discovery of spoken language is a great achievement of human communication.

Over time, communication with distant people became an essential factor.

They used different methods for that

1 Use of birds

2 Command drumming

3 Screaming hoo

4 Piles of fire

5 Sending arrows

Man was able to build the language of writing by creating letters and alphabets.

The world's first alphabet is the Phoenician alphabet.

Drawings and illustrations also took place.

Used in the early days to write something

👉papilas leaves

👉Clay slabs

👉Copper sheets

👉Palm leaves

👉Stone slabs

👉Bark of trees

👉Gold leaf

The word papillos is used today in the name of paper.

Some new inventions discovered with the advancement of communication.

1. Discovery of Chinese Tsai Loon paper.

2. Discovery of the Johannes Gutenberg printing press

3. Discovery of the Alexander Grohambell phone.

4. Discovery of the Google Elmo Marconi radio.

5. Discovery of Athenaeus Cretcher Magic Lantern

6. Discovery of the Jules Murray photo gun

7. Thomas Alva Edison and Dixon Kinetograph Discovery of the Camera

🤯 People's ability to gather information and their memory and memory🤯

Individuals use their five senses to gather information from a variety of sources.

Thus we see no limit to the collection of information.

There is no limit to the amount of information that can be collected, both good and bad.

The information thus obtained will remain in our memory for a short time or for a long time.

Often the information we get from experience stays in our long-term memory. We store the required information in the memory from the information in the memory. Unnecessary information should be removed from the memory.

Frequent reminders of any information we receive can carry it into long-term memory.

But an event we have experienced is remembered for a long time without being remembered.

Also memorization and memorization is an intellectual activity.

The following is how information is stored in our memory.

🧠 From what I read🚥

       10%

🧠 From what I heard🚥

       20%

🧠 From what I saw🚥

       30%

🧠 From what I heard &

      saw  🚥 50%

🧠 From what I read &

      wrote 🚥 70%

🧠 From what I did🚥

      80%

Percentages that indicate the nature of the above memory can be adjusted according to psychological research.

Reading and listening show a very low value in our memory.

The highest value in us is what we do.They need to revisit what they have in their memory from time to time to remember or enhance their memory.

Human memory depends on the strength of the brain.

The following is how the left and right sides of our brain function.👇👇👇👇

Here are some suggestions on how to look or get an appointment for antique items.

1. Filing together the same type of information

2. Taking different types of information into one frame

3. Training

4. Organizing information

The information we get from the environment is first included in short-term memory and secondly in long-term memory.

Remembering information is the process of incorporating information into long-term memory.

Thank you 🥰

🌼🏵️Iddamalgoda Denagamu Rajamaha Viharaya🏵️🌼

This ancient Rajamaha Viharaya is located in the beautiful village of Iddamalgoda in the town of Eheliyagoda in the Ratnapura district. Among the ancient values of this temple is the dagaba which is made by burying the relice of the last Arahant of the Buddha sasana,Arahant Maliyadeva. The name Denagamu is given to this temple because it is said that the relice of Arahant Maliyadeva were brought to this sacred place by the power of incense. The temple also has a cemetery designed for poya rituals. But at present the building is in the process of being renovated. The present chief Incumbent of this temple is the most venerable Pohorabawe Vimalathissa Thero. The newly constructed relice hall is also a construction that further enhances the antiquity and value of the temple. All the design work was done by ven Ilukpitiye Chandananda thero, the youngest thero of the temple . There is also a Dhamma school which has been run a long time in the temple . I am also a Dhamma educated student there. Every poya day ,the villagers work together to illuminate the entire temple at night.During the Vesak and Poson,Esala poya, the temple is decorated with Vesak powder and dansals are performed. All the people of our village will actively work the betterment of the temple .🤗
